Bad News of the Morning

A summary:

- Democrat and Iraq War veteran Paul Hackett lost the election in Ohio's 2nd.

- Bushie announced his support of the teaching of "intelligent design" in equal parts with evolution, while also reiterating his position on stem cell research, i.e. the worst position ever.

- John Bolton arrived at the U.N.

- Tom DeLay will appear on "Justice Sunday II" at a megachurch in Tennessee to promote Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts and speak out against "judicial activism."

- The State Department has issued a Global Terror Warning, i.e. Americans everywhere are fucked.

- CAFTA is about to become law.

- An American journalist was assassinated in Iraq.

- Don Knotts' health problems continue to escalate.

And Mr. Robert Norton of Pekin, Illinois is being buried in slacks and a shirt despite having spent his post-WWII service years fighting for his right to wander about his yard and garden naked.
