Dickhead of the Week - Whoever's Responsible for the Fucking Helicopter
It's been hovering in my neighborhood for the past hour, and there's nothing on the local news to explain it.
It must therefore be unnecessary.

How about who ever is responsible for the fucking alarm clock? Despite my best efforts, the one by my bed continues to go off every 10 minutes or so, even AFTER I tell it to shut up.
It is now 7:40 Topeka time.
it's jackhammers on the southside.
There's something going on on 40th Street and Queens Boulevard. The whole block is taped off and there are muchos policias.
Well, the noise finally calmed around 9:00am. That was followed by the policias de la muchos. Who the hell authorized jackhammers at 7:00am? What the hell goes on over on the southside?
Crime, I suspect.
We had a back-hoe and some trucks at 6:45 in Brooklyn. I was hoping they were coming for my head given the pounding in It, but I was being kicked in the head.
I must take exception to the comment which posited crime as the likely reason for all the police and yellow tape. There's a fine little Romanian bakery on Greenpoint and 39th, and I happened to be leaving my building this morning just as New York's finest were herding the last of the sugar-powdered chocolate-sprinkled zeppo-bombs into the back of a police van in order to take them down to the station house for further questioning.

Someone was shot early this morning at the new Post Coffee Shop.
They are still looking for the suspect!!!!!
